Phil Harder is a music video, commercial and feature film director.
Harder lives in New York and Minneapolis working for commercial clients such as Apple iPod, Sprint, Gap, Target, Advil, Gerber, NHL, Disney, McDonalds, Smirnoff, and Hewlett Packard. Music videos include Prince, Foo Fighters, Incubus, The Script, CSS, Polica, Nada Surf, Rob Thomas, Liz Phair, Babes in Toyland, Macy Gray, Hilary Duff, Low, Cornershop, Trampled By Turtles, Har Mar Superstar, Pulp, The Cranberries, Barenaked Ladies, Matchbox Twenty, Afghan Whigs.
Some of his awards include the MVPA award Best Alternative Video, MTV Awards video nomination, SXSW short film award, nomination for MVPA Director of the Year. Jury Award at Dance on Camera Festival at Lincoln Center, Best Experimental Film at Brooklyn International Film Festival.
